Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for emerging AI technologies including quantum computing and neural interfaces
- Lead stakeholder consultations with policymakers, researchers, and civil society organizations to establish industry standards
- Develop preemptive audit protocols for autonomous systems operating in regulated environments
- Establish bias mitigation strategies for AI training datasets across diverse demographic spectrums
- Create transparency reporting mechanisms for high-stakes AI decision-making systems
- Coordinate with product teams to embed ethical-by-design principles in development lifecycles
- Represent the organization at international AI governance forums and regulatory bodies
- Proactively identify emerging ethical challenges in 2026 technology landscapes
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or Juris Doctor with specialization in AI regulation
- Minimum 8 years in AI governance, ethics, or regulatory compliance with 3 years in leadership
- Deep expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and OECD AI Principles frameworks
- Proven track record developing ethical guidelines for autonomous systems or biometric technologies
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Published research in AI ethics or technology governance (peer-reviewed journals)
- Experience working with international regulatory bodies and multistakeholder initiatives
- Strong background in risk assessment for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, neural)
