Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing next-gen prototypes for 2026 technology adoption
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends in AI, biotech, and clean energy
- Design and implement ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and strategic partnerships
- Present visionary roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and build innovation pipelines
- Publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in tech innovation leadership with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record of scaling moonshot projects from concept to market
- Expertise in quantum computing and generative AI architectures
- Published research in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS) or Systems Dynamics
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (SBIR, DARPA)
- Portfolio of 3+ disruptive technologies launched in past 5 years
