Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology innovation roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech) for strategic adoption opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Establish KPIs for innovation success and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Identify and mitigate future risks through scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D collaboration
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing and executing long-term (5+ year) tech roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting futuristic concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in foresight methodology (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner) or equivalent
- Experience working in agile environments with product development lifecycles
