Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and advanced AI systems
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype future-facing solutions (AR/VR, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and global innovation hubs
- Present annual 'State of 2026' forecasts to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Design ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems and neurotech applications
- Curate annual 'Future Forward' summit showcasing emerging technologies with $10M+ market potential
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Future Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 8+ years in tech innovation
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Published research on 2026+ technology implications (peer-reviewed journals or white papers)
- Proficiency in futures modeling tools (STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Experience scaling innovation labs from concept to $50M+ revenue streams
