You'll lead cross-disciplinary initiatives, anticipate market disruptions 3-5 years ahead, and translate future scenarios into actionable roadmaps. Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence systems
- Lead moonshot projects in neural interface technology and climate-positive computing
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies (2026-2030)
- Coordinate with global R&D teams to prototype next-gen human-machine symbiosis solutions
- Establish KPIs for measuring exponential technology adoption curves
- Present future scenario analyses to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (preferred)
- Published research on emerging tech societal impacts (2020-2025)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning frameworks
- Track record of launching technologies with 3+ year market lead times
- PhD or equivalent in Technology Futures, Systems Thinking, or related field
