As a key member of our Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global partners to identify paradigm shifts, anticipate disruptive forces, and develop actionable roadmaps for sustainable growth. You'll leverage data-driven insights, scenario planning, and stakeholder engagement to navigate uncertainty and create competitive advantage in an era of unprecedented change.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions relevant to 2026
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives to prepare organizational responses to future uncertainties
- Collaborate with R&D to align innovation portfolios with long-term future-state visions
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, speaking engagements, and industry publications
- Design and implement future-proofing strategies across product development, operations, and talent acquisition
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of anticipatory innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic change modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex future scenarios into actionable insights
- Experience working with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies with data visualization proficiency
- Global perspective with understanding of geopolitical and macroeconomic trends shaping 2026
