Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead quantum computing/AI ethics initiatives with MIT and Stanford research partners
- Design commercialization strategies for breakthrough technologies (neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Present future forecasts to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, scientists, and venture capitalists
- Author quarterly white papers predicting 2026 market disruptions
- Mentor R&D teams in speculative design and prototyping methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight at Fortune 500 or top-tier innovation consultancy
- Published research in peer-reviewed futures/technology journals
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Proven track record of implementing innovation roadmaps generating $50M+ revenue
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional presentation skills with 100+ executive audiences
