Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological, social, and economic disruptions
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Develop foresight frameworks for emerging domains (e.g., quantum AI, neurotech)
- Build stakeholder relationships with academia, government, and industry disruptors
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive leadership and investors
- Champion ethical innovation and sustainable impact in all strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI ethics)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) preferred
- Experience scaling innovation in Fortune 500 environments
