Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying technological, economic, and societal trends through 2026
- Design and implement innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI-human symbiosis
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical and climate disruption impacts
- Chair cross-functional 'Future Labs' with engineers, ethicists, and policymakers
- Present disruptive insights to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage $5M annual innovation incubator fund allocation
- Author thought leadership for Wired, MIT Technology Review, and Future Human
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent strategic foresight certification
- 7+ years in innovation strategy at Fortune 100 or venture-backed unicorn
- Portfolio demonstrating published 2020-2025 trend predictions with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven experience scaling global innovation initiatives >$50M
- Deep network ties with DARPA, World Economic Forum, and NASA JPL
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning)
- Published author or keynote speaker at Web Summit or TEDx
