Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech, socio-economic shifts, and global megatrends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, neurotech, and climate resilience solutions
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and policy teams to align on future-proof strategies
- Author thought leadership white papers and scenario-planning frameworks for executive stakeholders
- Partner with academic institutions and government bodies to shape regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups and technologies for potential acquisition/partnership
- Present strategic foresight findings to boards and investors using immersive data visualizations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic innovation, R&D, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial or policy outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, or biotech convergence
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex interdependencies across industries
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Strong network with innovation hubs, research institutions, and thought leaders
- Presentation skills capable of inspiring multidisciplinary audiences
