Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast technological, economic, and social trends shaping 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain Horizon's 2026 Innovation Roadmap with quantitative/qualitative frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product development priorities
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Create compelling future scenario narratives for stakeholder alignment and decision-making
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, trend analysis, or future-focused consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and quantitative forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, neurotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published foresight research or strategic innovation projects
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and futures research frameworks
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
