- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for transformative technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop 2026 product roadmaps integrating emerging scientific breakthroughs
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and investors
- Build strategic partnerships with academic research institutions and tech pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on next-generation market disruptions
- Oversee prototyping labs for experimental technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their market implications
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products or services
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or futures studies (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future forecasts implemented in commercial contexts
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic narratives
