As a cornerstone of our Future Horizons division, you'll interface with Nobel laureates, government futurists, and venture capital pioneers to redefine human-machine symbiosis. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, synthesizes disparate data streams into coherent narratives, and possesses an insatiable curiosity for emerging scientific frontiers.
Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead quantum-AI hybrid system prototyping in our Singularity Labs
- Produce white papers on neuro-quantum interfaces for peer-reviewed journals
- Coordinate with DARPA and EU Horizon Europe on next-gen human augmentation
- Design ethics frameworks for synthetic consciousness development
- Mentor PhD fellows in transdisciplinary research methodologies
- Present futures scenarios at World Economic Forum and TED conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent transdisciplinary field
- 7+ years experience in exponential technology foresight (quantum/AI/bio)
- Published work in Nature Futures or equivalent speculative science journals
- Proficiency in Monte Carlo simulation and Bayesian forecasting models
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 implemented future-proofing initiatives
- Security clearance for government-level sensitive research projects
