- Analyze emerging tech disruptions and provide actionable insights to executive leadership
- Manage $10M+ innovation budget and resource allocation for high-impact projects
- Present future vision to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an experimental culture within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurist roles with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, and biotech convergence
- Track record of launching industry-first solutions with measurable market impact
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism
