Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Collaborate with C-suite to embed future-proofing into corporate DNA and product development lifecycles
- Establish an internal innovation lab to prototype solutions for 2026 challenges
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Mentor cross-functional teams in strategic innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging tech: AI ethics, quantum applications, neurotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional scenario modeling and trend analysis capabilities
- Published thought leadership in reputable journals (e.g., MIT Sloan, HBR)
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from Futures School preferred)
