Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast technological, economic, and societal trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption in quantum, AI, and climate resilience
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Present foresight findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership publications on future-shaping technologies
- Maintain ecosystem relationships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, bio, climate, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovations
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Scenario Planning preferred
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-shaping work or patents
