Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for next-gen AI and quantum applications
- Lead cross-functional task forces exploring biotech-IT convergence opportunities
- Forecast technological disruption vectors and propose mitigation/adoption strategies
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on emerging tech incubation projects
- Author whitepapers on the societal implications of 2026 technology paradigms
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven ability to translate complex systems into actionable business frameworks
- PhD or equivalent in Future Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., GIST, STEEPLE analysis)
- Track record of securing $5M+ in R&D funding for visionary projects
- Deep understanding of ethical AI development frameworks
