Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and market trends through 2026 using advanced data modeling and scenario analysis
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies including quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities and risks
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Scan' reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Establish KPIs to track predictive accuracy of strategic initiatives
- Identify partnership opportunities with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Advose on R&D allocation for next-generation breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping
- Proven track record of developing successful 3-5 year strategic initiatives
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, Horizon scanning software)
