Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive innovations (quantum computing, neurotech, AI ethics)
- Produce strategic foresight reports and executive briefings on future-proofing business models
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with 2026 technological capabilities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks for trend forecasting
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on future technology adoption
- Design resilience strategies for exponential change and black swan events
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and scenario methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Published research or thought leadership on 2025-2030 technology trends
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) or relevant technology domains
- Experience advising C-level executives on technology disruption strategies
