Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for exponential technologies including quantum computing and neuro-interfaces
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to model societal impacts of breakthrough innovations
- Establish cross-industry alliances with Fortune 500 companies and research institutions
- Author proprietary 'Horizon Scan' reports identifying emerging disruption vectors
- Design ethics-by-default frameworks for next-generation AI and biotech systems
- Mentor internal teams in futures-thinking methodologies and trend analysis
- Represent the company at Davos, TED, and UN Innovation summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in strategic foresight
- Published research in Nature, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent on exponential technologies
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused innovations (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum AI, synthetic biology, or decentralized governance
- Exceptional ability to translate complex scientific concepts into actionable business strategies
- Experience advising C-suite executives on disruptive technology adoption
- Fluency in scenario modeling tools (e.g., Kumu, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Global network of innovators and thought leaders in emerging tech fields
