Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 markets
- Develop strategic frameworks for quantum computing integration, AI ethics, and metaverse adoption
- Author predictive whitepapers and thought leadership content for industry conferences
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions with 3-5 year implementation roadmaps
- Design and execute scenario planning workshops for C-level stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory trends affecting technological innovation
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in exponential technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major industry publications
- Proficiency in scenario modeling tools (e.g., SAM, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable insights
