Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030 markets
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State' strategic frameworks guiding $500M+ R&D investments
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype next-gen solutions in emerging domains
- Present actionable insights to executive boards and investor forums
- Build and lead a global network of futurist researchers and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at major tech summits
- Drive scenario planning for regulatory, ethical, and market disruptions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist research with Fortune 500 impact
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption curves with 85%+ accuracy
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published author or speaker at Web Summit, CES, or similar tier-1 forums
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major innovations brought to market
