- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for strategic acquisition/partnerships
- Develop patentable frameworks for ethical AI deployment in critical infrastructure
- Present future-state blueprints to Fortune 500 clients and UN policy forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures-thinking methodologies
- Publish whitepapers on long-term tech implications for industry journals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Future Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting tech disruptions (examples required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Experience advising C-suite on exponential technology adoption
- Published thought leadership in MIT Technology Review, Wired, or equivalent
- Fluency in futures methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio of 3+ implemented strategic frameworks with measurable impact
