Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, quantum computing adoption, climate tech convergence) to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for C-suite stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish competitive intelligence frameworks for emerging technologies
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot projects targeting 2026 commercialization
- Mentor a team of trend analysts and futurist researchers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
- Published work in futurism or technology forecasting journals
