Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap, identifying paradigm-shifting opportunities across AI, quantum, biotech, and immersive interfaces
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to detect emerging technologies with disruptive potential, delivering quarterly trend briefings to executive stakeholders
- Develop strategic frameworks for market entry in nascent sectors, including competitive positioning and ecosystem cultivation
- Partner with R&D to accelerate prototyping of breakthrough technologies, ensuring alignment with long-term corporate objectives
- Represent the company at global futurist forums, establishing thought leadership and strategic partnerships
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies, fostering organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership, with proven experience in emerging tech ecosystems
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or spatial computing
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology forecasting (white papers, patents, or industry keynotes)
- Track record of translating future trends into commercialized products or services
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Strategic certification (e.g., CSCP, CISSP, or equivalent) or equivalent demonstrable expertise
