Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 10-year strategic roadmaps for next-generation product ecosystems
- Lead scenario planning for geopolitical, climate, and technological disruption scenarios
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed futurist principles into corporate strategy
- Design and execute foresight workshops with Fortune 500 clients
- Author white papers on emerging paradigms in human-machine collaboration
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and data scientists
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published author in futurism/technology (IEEE, Nature Futures, etc.)
- Deep expertise in exponential technology forecasting methodologies
- Portfolio of implemented future-strategy initiatives with measurable impact
- Proficiency in strategic modeling tools (STELLA, AnyLogic, etc.)
- Experience advising governments or Fortune 100 on long-term strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
