Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, market, and societal trends to forecast 2026's competitive landscape
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into executable product roadmaps
- Author quarterly futurist reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities
- Build and maintain a network of industry futurists, academics, and tech pioneers
- Present strategic recommendations at internal and external innovation forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of accurately predicting tech trends (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, SWOT analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Thinking preferred
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
