Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop predictive models for market evolution and competitive landscape analysis
- Architect strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Present executive briefings on future scenarios and mitigation strategies
- Chair innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks
- Author thought leadership publications positioning Horizon as a futurist authority
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, or climate tech
- Exceptional data storytelling and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience with Delphi methodology and horizon scanning frameworks
- Portfolio published in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
