Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors through 2026
- Develop and maintain a strategic foresight framework with actionable insights for executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight findings into product roadmaps and innovation initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and present strategic recommendations to C-suite stakeholders
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts for trend validation
- Quantify future opportunities through scenario planning and predictive modeling
- Oversee implementation of strategic initiatives with measurable impact on long-term growth
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex concepts into executive narratives
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities with data-driven decision-making
- Experience with AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech trend analysis
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar program)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives implemented based on future forecasting
