Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global technology trends to develop a comprehensive 2026 innovation strategy
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Partner with C-suite executives to align futurist insights with business objectives and KPIs
- Author visionary whitepapers and scenario-planning frameworks for long-term technological adoption
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of academic and industry futurist partnerships
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodology and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field with 7+ years of strategic planning experience
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and preparing for major technological disruptions
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum, AI, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience working with Fortune 500 companies on transformational initiatives
- Certification in Futures Research or equivalent professional credential
