Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Analyze global trends to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Lead cross-functional workshops on future scenarios and innovation frameworks
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' reports for stakeholders
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven track record in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) preferred
- Presentation skills to executive audiences
