Responsibilities
- Design and execute 5-10 year strategic innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence solutions
- Deliver quarterly trend reports on exponential technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, metaverse economics)
- Facilitate C-level workshops on scenario planning and future-proofing business models
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants through federal and private sector partnerships
- Mentor junior futurists in systems thinking and emerging technology assessment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting or R&D leadership with exponential technology focus
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published author on technological singularity or disruptive innovation (Harvard/MIT Press preferred)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning, neuro-symbolic AI, and climate tech
- Proven track record scaling ventures from concept to $100M+ valuation
- Fluency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Top 1% performance in systems thinking assessments (e.g., Systems Thinking Assessment)
