Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic technology roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Produce evidence-based futurist reports for executive leadership and investor briefings
- Manage innovation pipeline from ideation through prototype validation with R&D teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Anticipate societal implications of technological advancements and recommend ethical frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning or technology innovation at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist methodologies and published thought leadership
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, CFMP) preferred
