As part of our Global Futures Lab, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and market analysts to develop scenario-based strategies that anticipate and capitalize on technological, social, and economic shifts through 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 Technology Impact Assessments analyzing AI, quantum computing, biotech, and space exploration trajectories
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for market disruption and regulatory changes affecting 2026 digital infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futurist insights into product development and investment priorities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs specializing in next-gen technologies
- Present quarterly futurist briefings to the board and executive leadership team
- Curate Horizon Dynamics' 2026 Innovation Index tracking emerging technologies with commercial viability
- Oversee development of proprietary foresight methodologies using predictive analytics and AI trend modeling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record publishing trend reports with 3+ year predictive accuracy
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and systems thinking frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, AR/VR)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACIF or foresight certification programs)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026-focused research or strategy projects
