Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for 2026 technology adoption patterns across key industries
- Lead interdisciplinary task forces in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, autonomous systems, bio-integration)
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI governance and human-centric design principles
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and government innovation labs
- Present strategic foresight briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic trends affecting technology deployment timelines
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic innovation or futurism roles
- Published research on emerging technology societal impacts (IEEE, ACM, or similar)
- Expertise in scenario planning and Delphi methodologies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and trend analysis platforms
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing and biotechnology convergence points
