Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, geopolitical, and socioeconomic domains to identify 2026-era opportunities and threats
- Develop and present strategic roadmaps for product innovation, market positioning, and organizational transformation
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to stress-test business strategies against future uncertainties
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, conference keynotes, and industry roundtables
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) into core offerings
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Monitor competitive intelligence and regulatory shifts impacting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through transformational change initiatives
