Responsibilities

- Author whitepapers and policy briefs on emerging technology governance
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for prototyping and validation projects
- Mentor a team of 15+ researchers and engineers in exponential technology domains
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 5+ years in exponential tech
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI, quantum computing, or biotech
- Proven track record of scaling futuristic technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in future-proofing systems against quantum threats and ethical AI risks
- Experience with government tech policy frameworks (e.g., NIST AI Risk Framework)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Security clearance preferred for DoE/DARPA collaborations
