Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Define and communicate the long-term architectural vision for the company, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends through 2026 and beyond.
- System Design: Lead the end-to-end design of complex distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures that are scalable, resilient, and secure.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of senior engineers and developers, fostering a culture of innovation, code quality, and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with product managers, C-suite executives, and external partners to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Readiness, Edge Computing) to determine their applicability and integration into our core stack.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure 99.99% system uptime.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior architecture or leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.
- Programming: Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive technical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
