Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast disruptive technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) with 5-10 year horizons
- Develop strategic roadmaps for clients to capitalize on 2026 market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align innovation portfolios
- Author thought leadership reports published in MIT Technology Review and Future Studies Journal
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and climate resilience
- Manage a $2M R&D portfolio for experimental 2026 solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent strategic foresight certification (CFP preferred)
- 5+ years at McKinsey, BCG, or similar strategy consulting with tech focus
- Published work on exponential technologies in peer-reviewed journals
- Fluency in scenario modeling tools (STELLA, AnyLogic) and AI trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful long-term innovation implementations
- Security clearance for government collaboration (Top Secret preferred)
