Responsibilities
- Lead strategic R&D initiatives targeting 2026 technological breakthroughs
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Secure and manage $10M+ annual R&D budgets
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech giants
- Present breakthrough findings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor emerging talent in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ in leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI, or bio-engineering
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Strong network with Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Strategic budget management experience over $5M
- Exceptional communication for complex technical narratives
