- Drive strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley VCs and research institutions
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite stakeholders and board members
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget with ROI-focused KPI tracking
- Identify patent opportunities and lead IP protection processes
- Mentor emerging tech talent in rapid prototyping methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR)
- Proven track record launching products with $10M+ ARR
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals a plus
- Experience with agile/DevOps in regulated industries (healthcare/finance)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
- Strong network with venture capital and academic institutions
