- Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive research on emerging technologies (e.g., AGI, Bio-digital convergence) to identify high-impact opportunities.
- R&D Collaboration: Partner with engineering and product teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts.
- Stakeholder Communication: Articulate complex future scenarios to the C-suite and board members with clarity and persuasive power.
- Partnerships: Scout and incubate partnerships with leading futurist labs, universities, and tech pioneers.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor innovation strategies to ensure Apex Horizon Labs remains a market leader.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Business Strategy (Master’s or PhD in a futuristic field is a plus).
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, futurism, or R&D leadership.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of identifying market-shifting trends and translating them into actionable business strategies.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of current tech stacks and the ability to grasp complex futuristic concepts rapidly.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to present to diverse audiences, from engineers to non-technical executives.
