Responsibilities
- Design and execute 2026-focused innovation roadmaps across quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy sectors
- Lead moonshot projects with $10M+ budgets, from ideation to market-ready prototypes
- Manage a global team of 15+ specialists (engineers, designers, futurists)
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT, NASA, and emerging startups
- Present breakthrough findings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Drive patent development (target: 15+ new IP filings annually)
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for next-gen technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or future-tech planning
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products (3+ examples)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum systems, synthetic biology, climate modeling
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Experience with venture capital ecosystem and startup incubation
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and executive audiences
- Portfolio of published future-tech forecasts or patents
- Fluency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi, causal layered analysis)
