- Develop and implement the 2026 technology innovation framework, aligning with market evolution and regulatory shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough solutions for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats through data-driven analysis
- Partner with C-suite executives to secure $10M+ annual R&D budgets and stakeholder alignment
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 2026 industry benchmarks
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property portfolio development for next-gen innovations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation roles with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or climate tech
- Track record of launching at least two market-defining innovations
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTE, APF)
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and managing P&L for R&D initiatives
