Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026 innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Partner with product teams to translate innovation opportunities into market-ready solutions
- Present strategic frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $10M+ innovation budgets with rigorous ROI tracking
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Deep expertise in technology adoption lifecycle management
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong executive presence and board-level communication skills
- Certification in Innovation Management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) preferred
- Portfolio of launched products/services from innovation pipelines
