As a key member of our R&D division, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities arising from quantum computing, AI ethics, biotechnology convergence, and sustainable tech ecosystems. Your strategic insights will directly influence product roadmaps and investment decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological horizons
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, neuromorphic computing)
- Design frameworks for ethical AI implementation and responsible innovation
- Drive cross-industry partnerships to accelerate technology adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior innovation specialists and foster a culture of experimental thinking
- Monitor global regulatory shifts affecting emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Published thought leadership on technology adoption patterns
- Certification in futures thinking or strategic foresight (e.g., CFMP preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
