Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive innovation roadmap targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, sustainable AI)
- Collaborate with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with business objectives
- Manage a $15M+ R&D budget across 12+ concurrent innovation projects
- Build and lead a high-performing team of futurists and technologists
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and investor groups
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Innovation; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth sectors
- Proven track record of launching 3+ market-disrupting products/services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, synthetic biology)
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across 5+ time zones
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFIP)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
