- Architect and execute quantum-AI research roadmap for 2026-2030 technology milestones
- Lead cross-functional team of quantum physicists, ML engineers, and domain specialists
- Develop novel algorithms for quantum machine learning optimization
- Secure $5M+ in federal/state innovation grants and private partnerships
- Drive patent strategy for quantum-AI convergence methodologies
- Present breakthrough findings at global summits (NeurIPS, Q2B, etc.)
- Mentor next-gen quantum-AI researchers in academic-industry collaboration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics
- 8+ years R&D leadership in quantum/AI with 3+ team management years
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Proven grant-writing success with $2M+ secured funding
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, TensorFlow Quantum, and PyTorch
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmaps
- Strong ethical AI governance background with regulatory compliance experience
