Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum AI algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead a cross-functional team of quantum physicists, ML engineers, and domain experts
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures for real-world deployment
- Collaborate with academic institutions on next-gen quantum error correction techniques
- Translate theoretical research into scalable commercial solutions
- Secure and manage research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
- Present breakthrough findings at premier conferences (Q2B, NeurIPS, etc.)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum/AI journals
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience leading complex R&D projects with measurable outcomes
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and quantum circuit design
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding ($1M+ preferred)
