Responsibilities
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in developing quantum-AI integration frameworks for 2026-era applications
- Design and execute experimental protocols for quantum machine learning optimization
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford research partners on next-gen quantum algorithm development
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into scalable industrial prototypes
- Author white papers on quantum-AI convergence for peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum computing principles
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NASA research grants for frontier projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development with published papers in Nature/Science
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU clusters)
- Experience with quantum error correction protocols at scale
- Strong background in theoretical computer science fundamentals
